Nabila Abbas Alumna UMT selected in the Prime Minister National Youth Council

Nabila Abbas, Alumna UMT has been selected as a Youth Member in the “National Youth Council,” under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The National Youth Council is a project of the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program and works with the mission to integrate young voices, perspectives and aspirations into national development policies and processes.
The Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program aims to facilitate and support provincial governments with their youth-focused policies and programs as well as strengthen intergovernmental coordination for youth development. It also aims to set pro-youth programmatic parameters for collaborative partnerships with international development bodies, along with fulfilling Pakistan’s global commitments through the engagement of youth for achieving SDGs.
Previously, Nabila has been awarded the prestigious Diana Award, in recognition of her role in empowering the women and girls of rural Pakistan. The UMT family is proud of her achievements and would wish her all the best for her future endeavors.
