UMT Team Awarded Appreciation Certificate for being Among Top 5 in HEC-LUMS Technology Competition

The Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at UMT was among the 18+ universities from Central Punjab that showcased 66 projects in different areas in a HEC-LUMS Technology Competition hosted by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to celebrate HEC's 15 years of excellence. The special event was held on September 27, 2017.
The project titled "Autism Identification and Learning through Motor Gesture Patterns" by Computer Sciences Department, SST, got a certificate of appreciation for being in the top five positions in HEC-LUMS Technology Competition." The project team consisted of the following members:

- Anum Dastigir (Student ID:13005065376)
- Insha Rafique (Student ID:13005065149)
The team of the selected project has been invited by HEC to participate in the mega event at Pak China Center Islamabad. This is a great honor for UMT and illustrates the dedicated efforts of ORIC UMT to promote an entrepreneurial culture at UMT. It is also worth mentioning that four (04) other projects from SEN and SST have been shortlisted for the mega event in Islamabad.
