UMT Hosts Mr Patrick Brown Honorable Mayor of Brampton Canada

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) had the honor of hosting the honorable Mayor of Brampton, Canada, Mr. Patrick Brown, for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an exclusive talk. This event marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange between Pakistan and Canada.
The event commenced with a special flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of unity and friendship. The MoU, signed by Dr. Asif Raza, Rector UMT, and Mr. Patrick Brown, laid the foundation for a strong commitment to mutual collaboration and joint initiatives.
Notable dignitaries, including Mr. Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Minister LG&CD Punjab, and Member Board of Governors UMT/ILM Trust, Lt. Gen. (R) Javed Hasan, Acting President UMT, Prof. Abid Sherwani, DG UMT, Registrar Saleem Ata, Asif Saeed Haider, Director AAQIC, and senior management of UMT, graced the event with their presence.
Mr. Patrick Brown engaged in a constructive discussion with Mr. Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Minister LG&CD Punjab, and Member Board of Governors UMT/ILM Trust, to explore areas of potential partnership and cooperation between Pakistan and Canada.
Dr. Asif Raza, Rector UMT, expressed sincere gratitude to Mr. Patrick Brown and the esteemed delegation for their invaluable presence. Dr. Asif commended the Canadian Prime Minister's leadership in promoting religious harmony and combatting Islamophobia.
