UMT Career Fair 2017 Attracts Hundreds of Job Seekers

The UMT Career Fair, organized by the Office of Career Services (OCS) was inaugurated today by Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique, Minister of Special Education, Member Punjab Assembly and Sarmad Hussain, Regional Head, (Lahore) Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.
Launched under the theme of ‘Backpack to Briefcase,’ leading national and multinational companies are participating. The opening ceremony of the program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
In his welcome note, Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT, appreciated the efforts of OCS team and UMT Community for organizing such a mega event and encouraged the participants to take full use of the opportunities, available here. He further stated that UMT continues to provide such platforms for the promotion of quality academics. Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique and Sarmad Hussain visited the stalls and also appreciated the efforts of UMT for organizing the career fair, which shows UMT’s effort to promote entrepreneurial culture and academic sincerity on all fronts.
The event is being attended by faculty, students, alumni and families to network and create corporate liaison with the renowned consultancies, local and foreign universities, multinational/local organizations and SMEs.
It is interesting to note that a total of 100+ organizations and universities are participating at UMT Career Fair 2017.
