UMT Becomes First Private Sector University to Collaborate with Pakistan Naval War College

UMT has bagged another first by entering into a collaboration with Pakistan Naval War College. The credit for this goes to the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of Political Science, which has become the first private sector department to collaborate with the Pakistan Naval War College. The collaboration will benefit UMT in many ways, some of which include the following:
- The Department of Political Science and Pakistan Naval War College will conduct a national conference in October 2018. The faculty of both the institutions will present conference papers which will be published in the form of a conference booklet.
- The faculty of Department of Political Science will teach research methodology to the officers of Naval War Course
- Department of Political Science faculty will be appointed as external supervisor for Pakistan Navy officers who will seek their guidance while carrying out their research during their staff course.
- Pakistan Navy officers will frequently visit UMT to deliver lectures on maritime security and CPEC
