In his keynote speech, he welcomed Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Governor Punjab and Patron UMT by saying that he is a patron by deeds and actions in true spirit. He congratulated the graduating students and their families on behalf of UMT and ILM Trust.

Addressing the gathering he added that we are just recovering from a global pandemic that has taken countless lives and has led to a global economic disaster, with a long-lasting impact. By the grace of Allah Almighty and with your cooperation, UMT did not waver in the face of this monstrous challenge. Our prime concern throughout this challenge was to provide uninterrupted services to our students. We deployed every resource at our disposal to minimize the impact of this pandemic on the teaching and learning processes. I am pleased that without any compromise or any degradation of the quality of our education, UMT successfully contained the prospective damage and found new opportunities by relying on our spirit of innovation. UMT implemented the first of its kind online teaching and learning protocol and offered interest-free loans and concessional internet packages to students.

President UMT said that youngsters are the architects of the future and can lead to a progressive and prosperous Pakistan. They hold the power to transform their lives and we at UMT help them cherish their lifelong dreams. We aspire that our graduates carry the essence of ethical and moral behavior that embodies the vision of Iqbal, leaving behind a mark of distinction in human history. President UMT advised students to live for others and not for themselves alone. He appreciated their splendid individual and collective roles during the pandemic and urged them to relentlessly fight against the pandemic of illiteracy. He said this is the right time to pay your debt to society by educating the less fortunate, as when you become oblivious of the future you also lose the world hereafter.
