Dr Ahmad Murad Shares His Views on the Way Forward for UMT

Dr Ahmad Omar Murad, Chairman UMT, chaired a meeting attended by Heads of Management Offices, Deans, and Chairpersons of the various departments of the University. Abid H K Shirwani, DG UMT and Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT, were also present on the occasion. Addressing the select gathering, Dr Ahmad Murad said that UMT was established as a non-profit organization in keeping with the philosophy of the Late Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. Education, for us, is truly a noble cause and we are committed to spreading the seeds of learning to all those who seek knowledge, irrespective of their social status.
Dr Murad added that ‘intellectual learning is essential for the growth of society.’ It is this capacity for learning that makes humans unique as compared to other life forms. He advised all those present to try and find the deeper meaning of everything that happens around them. If you try to find the ‘why’ of events, you will find yourself closer to your to finding the meaning of life.
