Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar, Governor of the Punjab gave an insightful speech for the young graduates to congratulate them for their success and motivate them to be responsible citizens of society. In his address, he paid a glowing tribute to Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad (Shaheed) for being the epitome of empathy. He commended Dr Hasan and his team for their countless contributions, hard work and dedication in leading UMT to the pinnacles of success. He asked the students to revel in joy and celebrate their achievements.
He further expressed that the criteria of success is not measured by a person’s designation, his wealth or the power he has, but his contributions towards society because history remembers those who do so. The best way to celebrate a great human is to follow his footsteps and he commended President UMT for carrying his father’s legacy and vision forth.
He congratulated the graduates for achieving a milestone in their academic careers and making their parents and teachers proud. He advised the students to always respect their parents as they have worked hard in dire times to provide quality education to their children and their prayers shall take them places. He expressed that the teachers felt immense pride watching their students succeed in life and so they should always respect their teachers for whatever they have taught them.
