3rd Innovative Computing (ICIC) International Conference 2019 at UMT

The 3rd International Conference on Innovative Computing (ICIC) 2019 was held at University of Management and Technology, Lahore on 1st and 2nd November 2019. The event was partially sponsored by PHEC and was technically patronized by IEEE. The focus areas for this year were futuristic technologies including Block Chain, LOT, Data Science, Mobility, and Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Raja Yasir Humayun, Provincial Minister for Higher Education, was the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony of the conference.
The conference was attended by a number of dignitaries, government officials, C-level executives, engineers, faculty members and students. Dr Shaukat Iqbal, Dean School of Systems and Technology (SST) and Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT welcomed the guests. Nearly 70 research articles were presented in the event by different researchers and all these articles will be published in IEEE digital repository. Active and renowned foreign researchers from USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, and Gulf shared the future research directions in several different areas. Nearly 1000 students and faculty members of more than 50 institutes from all across the country participated in the event. UMT has been organizing this conference for the past few years, and previously two successful sequels of this event have been organized in 2016 and 2018.
