UMT Students Get ERP Training at IKL, Dubai

The Center for Enterprise Technology Advancement arranged ERP trainings for UMT participants at the Institute of Knowledge and Learning (IKL), Dubai, from July 22, 2016 - August 6, 2016.This was the first training offered from IKL platform which provided Microsoft ERP training to participants from UMT school of Business of Economics (HSM). The ERP Training at IKL was arranged to provide our students with a chance to receive knowledge in an international environment with state-of-the-art technology. IKL Dubai was chosen because it is an international platform that gives a global exposure that is crucial for business students and entrepreneurs.

 

 

UMT students had the unique opportunity of interning at Al-Futtaim Motors which is a synonym for excellence. Al-Futtaim ensures quality, utilizes cutting-edge technology and provides the best customer care. Our participants interned for 5 days at Al-Futtaim, where they worked tirelessly to make the most out of this extraordinary opportunity. After completion of the 5 days internship program, each of the participants were awarded certificates recognizing their efforts and their Internship completion. It must be noted here that, Al-Futtaim has never offered internship opportunities to students form academic institutions. Through this internship, UMT participants broaden their horizons. They crossed national boundaries and tapped into international markets and gained international exposure at a world-renowned group.

Rector UMT Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad also took the time out of his busy schedule to discuss the opportunity in information system at IKL Dubai. He took this opportunity to recognize the hard work of the students, and renewed his commitment to provide students of UMT with every possible opportunity to excel and achieve their potential.
