UMT-STD Invites Renowned Designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha to Share his Success Story

UMT School of Textile and Design (STD) invited renowned designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha, known by the label MNR, to share his expertise with the students. He discussed his journey of success and said that he had started his work from a group of 2-3 people and now 400 employees are working in his business. He further explained that he has succeeded through constant hard work by catering different clients and customers. Besides this, He explained about management of his studio working and a brief comparative analysis of Pakistan and Indian fashion industry. He responded to students’ various queries regarding launching on brand even on small scale, to proper display garments during ramp walk, selection of fashion models and a proper understanding of fashion makeup artists and fashion magazines.
The guest also met Ibrahim Hasan Murad, President UMT and discussed how designs students may be best equipped for success in the competitive industry. The seminar was attended by fashion design students and faculty members.
