UMT SFAS Director Dr Nauman Khalid Ranked Amongst Top 2 Percent Scientists in the World

Director School of Food and Agricultural Sciences (SFAS) Dr Nauman Khalid has been ranked amongst the top 2 percent scientists in the world, according to the results of a study led by researchers from Stanford University conducted to establish a comprehensive database of the world’s most frequently cited scientists. This database includes the top 2 percent scientists of the world from different fields on the basis of standardized citation indications, among other variables.
The HEC-approved supervisor in the field of agriculture and food technology, Dr Nauman Khalid has extensive experience in formulating new emulsifiers, the extraction of surface-active molecules and the encapsulation of highly volatile bioactive compounds. With considerable expertise in food safety and quality management systems, he has published over 150 articles from which 100 have been published in high impact research journals.
The University of Management and Technology extends its congratulations to Dr Nauman Khalid on being ranked amongst the top scientists of the world.
