PCATP Grants Accreditation to Bachelors of Architecture (B. Arch) program

The UMT School of Architecture and Planning (SAP) is honored to share grant of the best accreditation by the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) for the of Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) program for all five batches inducted during 2012, 2013 and 2014. It is the maximum accreditation granted to any such program by the PCATP in the country.
The program of B. Arch was launched in 2012. The NOC was granted in the shortest time. Interim visit was timely conducted and finally the accreditation visit was conducted on November 23, 2017. The final report was received from the Registrar PCATP on January 2, 2018. The accreditation testifies to the quality and high standards of academic excellence at UMT.
There are two sections of Marking Criteria (A and B). Section A deals with the curriculum and faculty. UMT Lahore got 96% marks in Section A while Section B deals with infrastructure. UMT, Lahore was received 99% marks in Section B.
Thus, UMT Lahore thoroughly fulfilled all the requirements of accreditation laid down by PCATP. The UMT B. Arch program was declared fully qualified as stated in the letter of accreditation with full qualification for three years (5-Batches) accreditation. UMT stands at the top in both public and private universities of Pakistan.
