Celebration of Quaid Week at UMT

December 25 is always an important day for our nation as it is the birth anniversary of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In order to commemorate his personality as a human being and his struggle for his people, a series of special programs and activities were organized at UMT. The events emphasized on the traits of the father of the nation to bring awareness in our youth of how our leader struggled and never gave up the hope of having Pakistan.
It was an enlightening event to see the young generation taking interest in Jinnah’s vision and ideology that set the foundation of Pakistan. Ibrahim Murad, President UMT/Sitara Hilal Foundation (SHF), Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT, Abid HK Shirwani, DG UMT and Zahid Warraich, Director SHF inaugurated the event followed by a cake cutting ceremony. National songs, poems and speeches of students from different departments made the events all the more enjoyable and set a patriotic aura all around.
