Address of Ibrahim Murad, President UMT/ILM Trust, on 18th Convocation of UMT

Ibrahim Hasan Murad, President UMT/ILM Trust welcomed the chief guests as well as the students and parents on behalf of UMT and ILM Trust. He was grateful for everyone’s participation in the propitious event. The President talked about Pak-Arab friendly relations and how both the countries had always extended a helping hand to each other when needed. He claimed that the pillars upon which UMT stood tall and strong were the teachings and ways of God and His Prophet (P.B.U.H). The values taught by Allah and His Prophet (P.B.U.H) form the basis of the university. He wanted students to be the best versions of themselves and play a positive role in building the future of the nation via excellence of knowledge and action.
The President told that the future of Pakistan lied in the hands of the young generation and it was their duty to protect it. He further added that we needed to promote reconciliation instead of standing against each other. The University, he said, took pride in being founded by prominent visionaries like Khurram Murad and Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. He advised his students to study their life and gain from it. These thinkers gave a new direction to education where character building and acquiring knowledge, both held equal importance. He had strong faith in his graduates that they were ready to embark on the next journey in life. His advice to the students was to look after each other, to love each other, to protect each other and to help each other. He thanked the chief guests for gracing the event with their kind presence and extended his best wishes to the graduating students.
