  1. This is for the information of all concerned that the classes  of all Existing Batches for Spring semester 2026 (except School of Health Sciences-SHS) will commence from March 2, 2026.
  2. The participants of the New Intake-Spring Semester 2026 (Undergraduate Programs) shall adhere to the auto-registered courses. However, the accounts of participants enrolled in MS/PhD programs will be enabled for Course Add/Drop.
  3. The Course’s Registration Add/Drop week shall start before the commencement of classes. Section change is permitted during these weeks of Course Add/Drop.
  4. After the start of classes during the Ist week, participants can Add/Drop in elective courses with an option to only drop any core course (if required). Course Add or Change of Section of 'Core' courses will not be allowed during this week of Course Add/Drop
  5. The School/Institute-wise schedule of Courses Registration Add/Drop (Spring semester 2026) through the student portal (online.umt.edu.pk) is given hereunder: -

6.  The participants are advised to register for the courses accordingly and follow the classes' schedule shared by the respective department.
7.   No registration request will be entertained after the course Add/Drop period.
8.  It is imperative to share that after the Add/Drop period non-registered participants will not be allowed to attend the classes.
Important Guidelines for Courses Registration
    1. If you could not LOGIN, or facing any technical issue while registration please contact at [email protected]
    2. If the required course or section is not listed/visible while registration or the capacity of a section is full or you have clash with another course, register the course in the other sections available, or contact your Department Coordinator, Advisor or Chairperson.
    3. The maximum number of credit hours, for the participants of undergraduate programs are up to 18 credit hours and participants of graduate and post graduate programs can register up to 12 credit hours in a regular semester irrespective of their CGPA, subject to course offering by the respective School/Institute in a semester.
    4. The participants opting for Minor courses can register maximum of 22 credit hours in a regular semester.
    5. Whereas, the maximum number of credit hours, a participant of School of Pharmacy (SPH) can register in a particular semester is according to the approved curriculum of the program.  
    6. Requests to increase the Credit Hours will not be entertained.
