Rector UMT visit to Quaid-e-Azam Campus

Rector University of Management and Technology, Lahore Dr. Muhammad Aslam undertook a visit to the School of Commerce and Accountancy (SCA) at Quaid-e-Azam Campus located at Hamdard Chowk, Lahore along with Principal Secretary. Mr. Muhammad Azeem Naz, Principal of SCA and his team warmly welcomed the Rector and led him to tour around the campus. Rector took a round of classrooms, IPC lab, Admissions Office, Library and the auditoriums. He alsosight-saw the cafeteria catering the needs of the students. Dr. Aslam appreciated the facilities provided to the students and faculty. Expressing his views, he said that he was delighted to see a purpose-built campus and the facilities given to the students. He said that Quaid-e-Azam Campus is another campus of UMT, which is functioning excellently and meeting the expectations in imparting quality education.

Later on, the Rector hold a meeting with the faculty and the staff and discussed the subject of mutual interest with them. He emphasized on SCA faculty to work together like a team spirit and enhance the quality of degree programs, which was in the hands of the best teachers who could make a difference and inspire a generation. He was glad to see representatives of ORG, OPA, and OCS giving their best services to the students of SCA campus.

Throwing light on admission campaign, the Rector advised the Principal SCA to ensure maximum intake in their degree programs offered by this campus. The Rector applauded the excellent work and passion of the SCA faculty and staff in making the place a center of excellence and attraction for the community.

It is worth mentioning that this was the very first official visit of the Rector Dr. Muhammad Aslam to Quaid-e-Azam Campus.
