4th Cycle of MS/MPhil & PhD Research Supervision Course

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) is hosting the 4th Cycle of the MS/MPhil & PhD Research Supervision Course from September 8–11, 2026, at Saleem Asghar Hall, UMT. The four-day professional development course is being jointly organized by Knowledge & Research Support Services (KRSS-UMT), the Office of Research (OOR), and the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL).
The course brings together distinguished academic and research leaders to enhance the capacity of faculty members in research supervision, postgraduate mentoring, academic leadership, research methodology, and effective guidance of MS/MPhil and PhD scholars.
The distinguished resource persons include Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Prof. Dr. Ejaz Ullah Cheema, Prof. Dr. Shahid Soroya, Prof. Dr. Sammia Shahid, Dr. Uzair ul Hassan, Mr. Asif Saeed Haider, Prof. Dr. Zaheer Hussain Shah, Prof. Dr. Zaher Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Sohail Afzal, and Mr. Naveed ul Haq.
Held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the course provides an important platform for strengthening research supervision practices and fostering a culture of quality, integrity, innovation, and research excellence at the postgraduate level.
Through this collaborative initiative, KRSS-UMT, OOR, and CTL reaffirm their commitment to empowering faculty and strengthening UMT’s research and academic ecosystem.
