As per Deans’ Committee and Academic Council's decisions, following are to be implemented w.e.f. Semester Spring 2013 for all studentsregistered in all academic program being offered by UMT

2.Course-wise Assessment
- All courses will have comprehensive examination with minimum two hours duration which could be to maximum three hours with forty percent weightage in undergraduates and thirty percent in graduates.
- It will be mandatory to Pass in Sessional and End-Term Exam separately.
- Passing marks for all courses in Bachelor Level Degree Programs will be minimum 50%.
- Passing marks for all courses in Master/M.Phil/MS and Ph.D. Level Degree Programs will be minimum 60%.
