Mid-Term Examinations of Spring 2025

This is to inform you that the Mid-Term Examinations of Spring 2025 will be held from May 5, 2025 – May 10, 2025. Please ensure you check the exam schedule and prepare accordingly.
To avoid any inconvenience, kindly clear all pending dues (if any) and ensure your registration status, course code, and section are correct well before the examinations.
Additionally, it is mandatory for all participants to appear in the Mid-Term Examinations. Failure to do so will result in an "F" grade for the course.
Below are the examination rules and guidelines that all participants must adhere to:
Examination Rules for Participants
Important Instructions
- Arrive at the examination room at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- You must bring and display your UMT ID Card during the examination. Without it, you will NOT be allowed to sit for the Mid-Term examination.
- No Unauthorized Electronic Devices:
- Do NOT bring mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other unauthorized electronic gadgets into the exam room.
- If found in possession of any such device, your exam will be cancelled, and you will receive an "F" grade in the course.
- The University of Management and Technology is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
- Follow the invigilator’s instructions regarding your assigned seat.
General Guidelines
1. If you have a query, raise your hand and wait for assistance from the faculty member.
- Lending or borrowing of pens, pencils, rulers, calculators, etc., is strictly prohibited in the exam room.
- Strict Action Against Misconduct:
- Any participant found cheating, chatting, gesturing, or misbehaving will be dealt with under UMC rules.
- Use of abusive or obscene language in the answer sheet will result in disciplinary action.
- Participants cannot leave the exam room before 50% of the allocated exam time has passed.
- You may not leave your seat without permission from the faculty.
- Serious Offenses and Consequences
Attempting to Access Exam Papers Before the Exam is a serious violation and will be dealt with under UMC rules.
- If found guilty, penalties may include:
i. "F" grade in the subject.
ii. Suspension or expulsion from UMT.
iii. Any other punishment recommended by the UMC committee.
