Training Workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for All Faculty at Sialkot Campus

The Accreditation and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) organized a comprehensive training session on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for all faculty members of UMT Sialkot Campus. The session was conducted by the Director AAQIC, Asif Saeed Haider, on 09 April 2026. Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Executive Director of UMT Sialkot Campus, also graced the occasion and encouraged the faculty to embrace OBE for enhancing academic quality.
The training aimed to equip faculty with a thorough understanding of OBE principles, including the formulation of Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), and their alignment with the National Qualification Framework (NQF). Special emphasis was placed on designing curriculum, mapping learning outcomes, and developing effective assessment strategies to measure student achievement.
All faculty from various disciplines at Sialkot Campus participated actively in discussions. The session was well received, with faculty appreciating the practical guidance and clarity on implementing OBE in their respective courses. This initiative reflects AAQIC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening teaching quality and fostering student success across all UMT campuses.
