Director AAQIC Conducted RIPE of Baba Guru Nanak University

Mr. Asif Saeed Haider, Director of the Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC), was invited as an external evaluator to conduct the RIPE (Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement) 2025-2026 of Baba Guru Nanak University on May 20–21, 2026.
During the two-day review visit, Mr. Haider evaluated the university’s institutional practices in light of the Higher Education Commission PSG-2023 framework. The assessment focused on quality assurance mechanisms, academic governance, program implementation, continuous quality improvement processes, and overall institutional effectiveness.
As part of the evaluation process, he held detailed meetings with the university leadership, Heads of Departments, Registrar, Dean ORIC, and other administrative stakeholders to review evidence-based institutional practices and quality assurance documentation.
Mr. Haider also visited the under-construction campus facilities and appreciated the university’s future development plans and proposed infrastructure.
During the exit meeting with the respected Prof. Dr Shahid Imran, Vice Chancellor BGNU, he highlighted the salient observations and shared key recommendations aimed at further strengthening institutional quality assurance and academic excellence.
