Director AAQIC Conducted Focus Group Discussion with Final-Year Undergraduate Students

The Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) successfully conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with final-year undergraduate students of Fall 2025 programs. The session was moderated by Mr. Asif Saeed Haider, Director AAQIC.

At the outset, students were assured that the discussion would be conducted with complete anonymity, confidentiality, and non-attribution to encourage open, honest, and constructive feedback. Participants shared their perspectives on their academic journey, learning experiences, and memorable moments at UMT.

The discussion focused on the following key areas:

  • Overall academic journey and learning experience
  • Teaching quality and faculty engagement
  • Curriculum effectiveness and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) alignment
  • Assessment and examination practices
  • Academic support and learning resources
  • Administrative and student support services
  • Campus facilities and learning environment
  • Employability, professional growth, and skill development

Students also highlighted institutional strengths and shared valuable suggestions for further improvement. The insights gathered through this engagement will serve as an important feedforward mechanism for enhancing academic quality, student support services, and overall student satisfaction at UMT.
