Office of The Registrar

  1. Participants are required to register in courses offered in a particular semester according to the dates specified in the Academic Calendar.
  2. For new entrants, course registration is completed on the Orientation Day.
  3.  Registration Process:
  4.  Participants shall obtain the prescribed Registration Form from Office of the Registrar ;
  5. Participants, after having the Registration Form duly filled in, as per the course(s) offered by Department/ School, shall go to the Batch Advisor;
  6. The Batch Advisor shall ensure the following:
  7. that the pre-requisite course(s) are passed;
  8. that the course(s) graded “F” or assigned “W” in the previous semesters must be registered first in thefollowing semester when offered;
  9. that there are no outstanding dues;
  10. that the number of Cr. Hrs. allowed for registration shall be according to the following table
  11. Offering of the courses is dependent on the minimum number of participants registered in these courses; As per the University policy for Bachelors program, minimum class strength is 12 and for Masters program minimum class strength is 8;
  12. The course load limit is kept keeping in view the CGPA of the participant. In case the participant has the CGPA above the required CGPA, he/she is allowed to take maximum course load, otherwise the course load is reduced so as to provide an opportunity for participant to improve his/her CGPA. The course load limit is explained in the following table.

*Summer semester permissible load is half that of the regular semester.  

  The Batch Advisor, after having ensured that all the above conditions have been met, shall allow registration by signing the form and entering the registered courses in PIMS. Thereafter, the Batch Advisor shall send the registration forms to Office of the Registrar for record.
