The Content Writing Team is responsible for producing relevant content for the UMT website, social and digital media platforms and academic and support offices. They are also responsible for writing clear ad and marketing copy to promote the academic programs and research projects of the university, along with editing/proofreading official documents, including program brochures, newsletters, magazines, prospectus and promotional material.
The primary functions of the team includes:
- Editing and proofreading official documents as well as generating promotional content for ad copies, website, brochures and other materials
- Developing original and unique content, including blogs, articles and news stories to project a positive image of the university, along with publicizing activities and events for the information of the general public
- Carrying out research on industry and academic-related topics, along with conducting key word search for the SEO to increase incoming traffic to the university and allied websites
- Developing promotional content for social media platforms, along with editing and managing the content of the UMT website
