National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC)

NBEACThe purpose of NBEAC is to assure quality in Business Administration/Public Administration/Management Sciences degree programs according to the proposed accreditation in educational institutions. It requires a program to meet certain defined standards or criteria.

National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC)

NCEACThe Higher Education Commission has set up an accreditation authority, National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). NCEAC will look after the matter regarding the accreditation of institutions and their departments, faculties and disciplines by giving them appropriate ratings and define the organization's objectives, functions and duties to be performed.

Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP)

PCATPThe Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners Ordinance 1983 was promulgated with a view to give recognition and protection to the profession of architecture and town planning in Pakistan. The PCATP is authorized to perform all functions and to take steps connected with or ancillary to all aspects of the two professions including laying down standards of conduct, safeguarding interests of its members, assisting the Government and national institutions in solving national problems relating to the professions, promotion of reforms in the professions, promotion of education of these professions, reviewing and advising the Government in the matter of architecture and town planning education, etc.

PECPakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has accredited UMT’s engineering programs.The Pakistan Engineering Council is a statutory body, constituted under the PEC Act 1976 (V of 1976) amended upto 24th January 2011, to regulate the engineering profession in the country such that it shall function as key driving force for achieving rapid and sustainable growth in all national, economic and social fields.

Pakistan Bar Council (PBC)


The Pakistan Bar Council is the highest elected body of lawyers in Pakistan established under an Act of the Parliament. The Attorney-General for Pakistan is its ex-officio Chairman. The Members of the Pakistan Bar Council are elected on the basis of a single transferable vote by Members of the Provincial Bar Councils. The Pakistan Bar council exercises general control and supervision over the Provincial Bar Councils and regulates the entry of lawyers into the legal profession.

National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC)


National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) administered by HEC Pakistan accredited UMT’s Food Science and Technology program in 2019. NAEAC was established in 2008 by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to implement a comprehensive policy of accreditation of degree programs in the field of agriculture and allied disciplines against the set policies, procedures, and criteria to assure high quality and standards of education. The Council is responsible for publishing a list of ranking against accredited qualifications/programs, and to promote intellectual enhancement and understanding of subject areas. Besides, the NAEAC is mandated to provide guidance for the improvement of the existing educational programs and development of future programs leading to the agriculture profession.

The Society of Human Resource Management is a professional body that deals with professional human resources membership association. Headquartered in USA, It endorses the true role of the HR professionals and facilitates education and certification in the field of HR, allowing them to network with HR professionals across the globe. SHRM produces research related to the problems faced by HR professionals and business frontrunners in the workplace milieu and also conducts the annual employee job satisfaction and engagement survey and employee benefits survey.

National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE)

National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) was set up by HEC Pakistan to ascertain the procedures and policies pertaining to the accreditation of teacher education programs that can lead to a professional degree or diploma. NACTE monitors the teacher education degree programs and set criterions for the degree awarding institutes. It also publishes and disseminates research findings and information related to the profession of teaching and provides support to institutes to ensure quality assurance.

Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA)

Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) is a SAARC recognized accreditation body that has 298 members. It aims to promote quality management education and development activities in the region keeping in mind the social, cultural and economic factors of the region. It works on exchanging information, promotes research initiatives, organizes regional conferences, conducts programs and also promote interaction among business frontrunners and academia.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is a professional organized based in the US that deals with accreditation of business schools around the globe. AACSB connects students, researchers, educator and business leaders around the globe with the aim to produce next generation leaders. It also provides development services, quality assurance and business education intelligence to more than 1700 organizations and 800+ business schools around the globe.
