Campus Software

A variety of open source and freeware software titles are available through the OTE server within the campus. These software are specially kept for UMT staff/faculty, keeping in view their needs time to time. Server can be accessed by all UMT community. Software repository can be accessed for accessing campus software.

Antivirus Service

Antivirus is protective software designed to defend your computer against malicious software. Malicious software or "malware" includes: viruses, trojans, key loggers, hijackers, dialers and other codes that vandalizes or steals your computer contents. Computer viruses can damage your data and recovery. There is no guarantee that data can be recovered once hit with a virus. If you install antivirus software and keep it up-to-date, you can minimize the risk of data loss. Once installed, the antivirus software provided by OTE will check for updates.

Downloads

Any other opensource/freeware software other than our repository can be requested to download. Request can be posted on OTS Helpdesk.
