UMT Literary Society (ULS) is ecstatic to be able to introduce many types of literature and events in a welcoming and inclusive setting. Society organizes a variety of social gatherings and tournaments. If you are interested in literature then ULS is the ideal place for you.We are thrilled to introduce all forms of literature and events in a friendly environment.The purpose of this society is to assist young writers in channelizing their potential in the right direction providing a path for them to better understand their capabilities.

The mission of ULS is to assess the literary abilities of students by making them practice reading/writing, and recitations of literature in English, Urdu, or any other language where activity-based strategies are used on campus, to improve the literary skills of the students of UMT.
Vision:
Our vision is to develop the literary skills of the students of UMT by providing a systematized platform for extracurricular activities. To help students develop an insight and understanding into human nature, through literature.
