USH is committed to maintaining a safe and orderly residential environment.

Security arrangements, hostel supervision and established entry and visitor procedures are in place to support the safety of residents.

Residents are expected to:

• Carry their valid University identification when required.
• Follow hostel entry and exit procedures.
• Comply with visitor and guest regulations.
• Report safety, security or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow emergency instructions issued by hostel management.
• Respect fellow residents and hostel staff.

Any conduct that compromises the safety, dignity or wellbeing of others may be dealt with under the prevailing USH rules and University disciplinary procedures.
