Ibrahim Hasan Murad calls upon youth to steer Pakistan out of challenges

UMT President and the founder of Sitara-o-Hilal Foundation (SHF), Ibrahim Hasan Murad, said that the country’s youth must step up and play their due role to steer the country out of present challenges. Speaking on the occasion of Pakistan Day (March 23), Mr Murad paid rich tributes to the nation’s founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the poet of the East. He said it was their poise vision and tenacity that turned the dream of Pakistan into a reality. He added that Pakistan came into being through unprecedented sacrifices by our forefathers.

Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that Sitara-o-Hilal Foundation promoted patriotism among the youth. He said a majority of the Pakistani population was young and “we need to utilize this young talent in the most effective manner to uplift our country. The highest priority of our youth should be quality education and skill development”. The UMT President said the goal of higher education institutions should be to unleash our youth’s massive creative potential. He pointed out that UMT is working towards generating a strong knowledge economy.

The SHF founder, advised students to recognize their potential and showcase their skills in the field of education. He also recalled Quaid-e-Azam’s saying about education being the most powerful tool. Murad added that existing practices in education had become outdated and proposed new strategies and recommendations to improve the quality of graduates through enhanced investment in the research and development sector.
The UMT president called upon the nation to stand united against hostile forces to safeguard our beloved homeland in the face of current challenges.
