Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim to deliver the Khurram Murad Memorial Lecture 2021 at UMT

President University of Management and Technology (UMT) Ibrahim Hasan Murad had a discussion call with Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the opposition in Malaysia. He was the founder of Malaysia’s Muslim Youth Movement and has extensive experience working with Muslim political parties.
President UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been a family and ideological friend for generations starting from my late grandfather, Khurram Murad, one of the greatest contemporary Islamic thinkers. He further praised the political career of Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and said that his struggle is a true example.
Ibrahim Murad also announced that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim would deliver the Khurram Murad Memorial Lecture 2021 at the University of Management and Technology. He look forward to hosting him in Lahore and prayed for his long life and good health; he added.
