Research and Analysis Initiative (RAI)
The Research and Analysis Initiative (RAI) at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) is a dedicated section within the AAQIC (Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell), responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing university-wide surveys and research-based assessments. RAI functions as the central hub for evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that institutional policies and practices are continuously guided by reliable data and stakeholder feedback.
Since its establishment, RAI has produced 200+ comprehensive reports and analyses, covering a wide spectrum of surveys and evaluations. These range from planned annual surveys featured in the institutional Survey Calendar to additional targeted surveys addressing emerging needs of students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Core Purpose
RAI’s overarching mission is to support UMT in achieving continuous quality improvement by:
- Gathering 360-degree insights from diverse stakeholders.
- Identifying pain points and opportunities for growth.
- Creating synergies among people, processes, products, and productivity.
- Enhancing service excellence and satisfaction across the university.
