Final Transcript (FT)
A participant who has completed all the degree requirements shall apply through online.umt.edu.pk.
Office of the Controller Examinations (OCE), after verifying results/grades from the master record, shall process the Final Transcript within 3 to 4 weeks from the application date, provided no discrepancy is found during the verification process.
Participant can collect Final Transcript from the Office of the Controller Examinations in person by producing UMT ID Card or Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Driving License or Passport.
In case the participant can not collect personally, then he/she can authorize someone through signed authority letter by annexing copies of his / her own UMT ID Card, CNIC and the CNIC of authorized person.
Picture for Final Transcript and Degree
Your picture is a vital part of your Final Transcript and Degree. Please carefully review the information below on how to provide a suitable picture.
Your picture or digital image must be:
- In color
- Passport size photograph
- Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance
- Taken in front of a plain white or off-white background
- Taken in full-face view directly facing the camera
- With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open
- Picture must be taken in formal dress.
- Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible.
- Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your picture.
- Sunglasses are not allowed in your picture.
Instructions for obtaining Final Transcript (FT)
A student who has completed all the degree requirements both in terms of credit hours and CGPA is eligible to seek his / her Final Transcript and must read the following instructions carefully before applying for final transcript (FT).
- Apply for Final Transcript (FT) clearance through the link online.umt.edu.pk.
- Upload the scanned copies of the following documents in the relevant sections.
- Attested copies of Educational Documents
- Attested Copy of CNIC/Passport
- Attested Passport Size Picture with white background
- The transcript request form must be duly filled in with the required information. An incomplete form shall not be accepted/processed.
- Final Transcript request is processed within 2 to 3 weeks after submission of applications.
- In case, any discrepancy is identified in the verification process then it may take another one or two weeks to prepare such FTs.
- Final Transcript is issued after the signatures of competent authorities which is subject to their availability
- Name and parentage on the Final Transcript shall be as per matric certificate. In case these particulars are mentioned in Urdu, student shall provide particulars on the undertaking form available at the photocopy shop.
- There is no fee for Final Transcript.
- FT is issued to the concerned student/graduate after providing copy of CNIC or Driving License or Passport.
- In case the participant can not collect the FT/degree personally, then he/she can provide his/her detail and detail of authorized person through email at [email protected]. He/She will attach his/her original CNIC. The authorized person will provide copy of his/her CNIC at the time of receiving.
Instructions for obtaining DUPLICATE Final Transcript (FT)
In case FT is lost or misplaced, the student can immediately apply for duplicate FT by paying prescribed fee in the Accounts Office. The word “DUPLICATE” will be written on the FT. It is also mandatory for the student to provide the following documents:
- Photocopy of lost FT
- Original copy of FIR lodged with police station regarding the loss of FT
- An affidavit on a stamp paper
- Original cutting of newspaper ad announcing the loss of FT
- Payment receipt (non-refundable)
FT is issued to the concerned student/graduate after providing copy of CNIC or Driving License or Passport.
In case the participant can not collect the FT/degree personally, then he / she can provide his/her detail and detail of authroized person through email at [email protected]. He/She will attach his/her original CNIC. The authorized person will provide copy of his/her CNIC at the time of receiving.
Instructions for obtaining REVISED Final Transcript (FT)
OCE prints Student's Name and Parentage Name on Final Transcript as per Matric Certificate or IBCC or Equivalent. In case, change of Name or Parentage Name on FT, it is mandatory for the student to provide the following documents:
- Updated/Revised attested photocopy of Matric Certificate or IBCC or Equivalent
- Fresh Picture as per prescribed criteria
- Photocopy of CNIC
- Original Final Transcript
- Payment receipt (non refundable)
The word “REVISED” will be written on the FT
FT is issued to the concerned student/graduate after providing copy of CNIC or Driving License or Passport.
In case the participant can not collect the degree personally, then he/she can provide his/her detail and detail of authorized person through email at [email protected]. He/She will attach his/her original CNIC. The authorized person will provide copy of his/her CNIC at the time of receiving.
Instructions for obtaining Progress Report (PR)
A student who has not yet completed all the degree requirements both in terms of credit hours and CGPA is eligible to get his / her Progress Report as per the procedure laid down herewith:-
- Obtain clearance from the different departments as listed in Clearance Form available at the photocopy shop.
- Submit the filled clearance form to the Office of Participant Relationship Management (OPRM) along with attested copy of his / her Matric Certificate and prescribed fee (As mentioned in above table).
- Request is usually processed within One week after receiving the application in the OCE.
- In case any discrepancy is identified in the verification process then it may take another week to prepare such PRs.
- There is no fee for verification of PR
- In case the participant can not collect the FT/degree personally, then he/she can provide his/her detail and detail of authroized person through email at [email protected]. He/She will attach his/her original CNIC. The authorized person will provide copy of his/her CNIC at the time of receiving.
Instructions for obtaining Degree
Degrees shall be issued to students who have completed all degree requirements of a particular program and have been issued the Final Transcripts. The issuance process and applicable fees are as follows:

Procedure and Terms:
For Pre-Convocation Degree:The graduate must submit the prescribed application form along with:
- Proof of payment of Rs. 20,000/- (non-refundable).
- Copy of Final Transcript issued by UMT.
- Any other required documents as per the prescribed application.
For Convocation / Post-Convocation Degree: No fee is required. Degrees will be issued on or after Convocation Day to eligible graduates who have completed all degree requirements and received their Final Transcript.
Eligibility for Pre-Convocation Degree:The processing time of five (5) working days will commence only after:
- Eligibility has been confirmed.
- All clearance formalities have been completed.
Convocation Registration for Pre-Convocation Degree Holders: The non-refundable fee for the Pre-Convocation Degree includes registration for attendance at the next scheduled convocation. Upon official announcement of the convocation, the graduate must complete their convocation registration by submitting proof of the earlier payment.
Collection of Degree: The degree is issued to the concerned student/graduate after providing a copy of CNIC, Driving License, or Passport.
Authorization for Collection: In case the participant cannot collect the degree personally, he/she can authorize someone by providing their details and the authorized person's details via email at [email protected]. The student will attach his/her original CNIC. The authorized person must provide a copy of their CNIC at the time of receiving.
