Ahmed Dawood Gold Medal is awarded annually to outstanding participant of the year. List is drawn by the Controller of Examinations and scrutinized by the following committee:

Mr. Muhammad Nazim, Assistant Professor
Criteria:
- Student having highest CGPA
- The student should not have obtained F grade or repeat course(s)
- The student should have completed degree requirements within normal time period
- No disciplinary or UMC case against the student
- For undergraduate programs: Metric/Equivalent 10%, Intermediate/Equivalent 15% and Bachelors program 75%
- For graduate programs: Metric/Equivalent 10%, Intermediate/Equivalent 15%, Bachelors program 20% and Masters program 55%
The committee while sending its recommendations to Dawood foundation also incorporate co-curriculum and extra-curriculum achievements of the short listed candidates along with their scholastic scores. The successful candidate is awarded with Ahmed Dawood Gold Medal along with cash prize of Rs. 100,000/- at the time of Convocation.
