The objective of this SOP is to establish guidelines for the display of products or services by any business entity within the university premises. The aim is to create a mutually beneficial partnership between the university and the organizations while ensuring the integrity and academic environment of the institution.


This SOP applies to all com wishing to display their products or services within the university campus.

Application Process

  • Any organization interested in displaying their products within the university premises must submit a formal application to the Office of Forums and Events (OFE).
  • The application should include details such as the purpose of the display, duration, proposed location, and a brief description of the products to be displayed.

Review and Approval

  • The application will be reviewed by OFE.
  • The review process will assess the relevance, appropriateness, and compatibility of the product display with the university's values, mission, and goals.
  • OFE reserves the right to approve or disapprove the display of products of services which may violate or damage the norms, values and reputation of the university.

Display Guidelines

  • The display should be designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the designated area without obstructing the flow of foot traffic or causing inconvenience to students, faculty, or staff.
  • The organizations must ensure that the display adheres to all safety regulations and does not pose any hazards to the university community.
  • The display should clearly indicate the organization’s name, purpose, and contact information for inquiries or feedback.
  • The duration of the display should be clearly defined and agreed upon by both parties.

Monitoring and Maintenance

  • The Office of Forums and Events will monitor the display to ensure compliance with the approved guidelines and standards.
  • Any necessary maintenance or repairs required for the display will be promptly communicated to the representative.
  • In the case of any complaints or concerns raised by students, faculty, or staff regarding the display, OFE or concerned departments will address them promptly.

Termination of Display

  • At the end of the approved duration, the representative will remove the display and restore the area to its original condition.
