Former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani Shares Insight on Regional Peace

The UMT Jinnah Forum invited Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, to deliver a talk on the theme 'Regional Peace, Democracy, and World Powers' at the UMT Campus. The distinguished guest was welcomed graciously at the campus by senior officials of the University.
The former premier spoke at length about the complexities involved in regional political dynamics and the role played by the major powers in shaping the final outcome. He said that maintaining peace and strengthening democracy require real commitment by the political leadership. The talk was attended by a large number of faculty and staff members as well as high ranking UMT officials. A large number of students also attended the session.
