Crispian Robinson and Lisa Gordillo from Japan Times visited UMT on August 23, 2016 on the invitation of Ibrahim Qureshi, CEO ITC. Both guests were given a detailed tour of the UMT Campus. They were impressed by the outstanding educational facilities at UMT and the diverse mix of students.
The honored guests also met Rector UMT Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. They interviewed him for the Japan Times, an esteemed English language daily. Dr Hasan gave brief on various topics like role of education for prosperous Pakistan, industry-academia linkages, UMT plan for 2020 and the new disciplines to be taught at UMT keeping in Mind the futuristic requirements of private and government sector.
The interview of Hasan Shoaib Murad will be Published on the front page of Japan times. UMT Campus and related messages will also be highlighted in the report on Pakistan as the next future destination of trade and investment.
