Event Scheduling Policy
As the university organizes a large volume of events, in order to accommodate various requests, the following priority scheduling order has
been established:
- Official University Events (Convocations, Orientations, Merit Awards or National Day Celebrations etc.)
- Events (Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops, Sessions etc) organized by any Academic School or Management Office (Prioritized according to scale and nature of the event)
- Student Clubs or Societies
Event Approvals
All event organizer offices must get approval of the planned event from the Dean/Director/HoD of the concerned School/Department and submit the request to the Office of Forums and Events.
Event Cancellation and Postponement
In case of Cancellation
- The organizer will inform the cancellation of the approved event to OFE
- If any prepaid expense is incurred before cancellation, approval from the Office of Rector and Office of Treasurer will be required.
In case of Postponement
- In case, no advance expenses are incurred, the event will be considered cancelled.
- In case of prepaid expenses (subject to re-scheduling), the new dates will be communicated with OFE.

Other Venues for inhouse and meetings with external guests are available as per need.
