Turkey and Pakistan should Promote Education to Improve Literacy Rate in Pakistan: Ibrahim Hasan Murad

UMT President Ibrahim Murad called on Turkey's Ambassador to Pakistan H. E. Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul at his office in Islamabad. President UMT apprised him with progress and achievements of the University (UMT). He emphasized that Pakistan and Turkey should take initiatives to promote literacy. Ibrahim Murad appreciated Turkey for providing scholarships to Pakistani students in this regard and expressed his best wishes the educational pursuits of Turkish Organizations in Pakistan. President Erdogan is considered to be moral compass of Pakistani people as he declared Pakistan “home away from home”, he added. While expressing his thoughts, the Turkish Ambassador H. E. Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul appreciated UMT in its service to nation in the field of education. Closer ties and people to people contact between two countries is need of the hour to foster bilateral relations, he said.
