Ibrahim Hasan Murad and Raja Rashid Hafeez Discuss Challenges of Non Formal Basic Education

Ibrahim Hasan Murad, President, UMT and ILM Trust, met Raja Rashid Hafeez, Provincial Minister of Punjab for Literacy and Non Formal Basic Education, to discuss the educational infrastructure of the country and the current scenario of Non Formal Basic Education. Raja Rashid Hafeez discussed the challenges and problems faced by Literacy and Non Formal Basic Education and how those issues could be overcome by finding better and practical solutions. He also urged President UMT to provide assistance in this matter.
Ibrahim Hassan Murad shared his thoughts and said that in collaboration with Punjab Government, UMT will arrange an international conference to get new ideas from experts internationally on the matter. Furthermore, he added that such joint ventures will play a vital role in educational progress of the nation.
The meeting, which was held at the UMT Campus, was also attended by Prof Sajjad Qamar, Dr Mumtaz Akhtar and Prof Dr Naheed Khwaja.
