UMT and Yocfan Renew MoU for Making UMT a Drug Free Campus

The Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT-OPA renewed an MoU with the Youth Council for Anti-Narcotics (Yocfan) and Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) which was first signed in February 2017 for making UMT a ‘Drug and Smoke free Campus.’ It is worth noting that under the terms of the MoU, UMT became the first Pakistani smoke and drug free university in South Asia.

 Zulfiqar Hussain Shah, Consultant Anti- Drug/Narcotics Camping and Head Yocfan, and M Ali Shah, Head OPA, signed the MoU. Both signatories will implement different drug and narcotics awareness programs for UMT. Muhammad Ayub, Senior Adviser, Colombo Plan DAP, also graced the event with his presence.
