UMT Faculty and Students Awarded Scholarships to Complete PhD in the US

The UMT community will note with pride that faculty members and a graduate student from the School of Systems and Technology (SST) at UMT have been awarded scholarships to complete PhD in prestigious US universities. This testifies to the high academic standards and quality of education at UMT. The details of the scholarship recipients are as follows:
- Muhammad Waqas has been awarded Fulbright Scholarship to complete PhD in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology
- Hassan Maqbool has been awarded Fulbright Scholarship for PhD Computer Science in the University of Central Florida.
- Abu Bakar Siddique has received a fully funded PhD Scholarship for PhD Computer Science at University of California.
- Ali Raza (SST graduate) has received fully funded scholarship for PhD Computer Science from University of Colorado
