A research paper titled "Evaluating wind energy potential in Pakistan's three provinces, with proposal for integration into national power grid" authored by Dr Sajjad Shami, Jameel Ahmad, Raheel Zafar, Muhammad Haris and Sajid Bashir (previously published online in Sep 2015) is now available in print version in the January 2016 edition (Vol.53) of Elsevier's prestigious (Impact Factor 7.445) journal Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, pp. 408-421.
This is the highest impact factor publication in the history of UMT. It is also the highest ever impact factor publication in engineering sciences by resident Pakistani engineers.
