Office of Alumni Arranges Alumni Get Together for Sialkot Chapter

The Office of Alumni at UMT organized an Alumni Get Together for Sialkot Chapter on April 15, 2017 to acknowledge the contribution of Ilmians in their professional fields, and to enhance regional networking. Usman Khawaja, Sialkot Chapter Administrator, and other officials welcomed the guests and hosted the dinner.
Rana Iftikhar Ahmad, Director OER, Sajid Ur Rehman, Senior Manager, and Muhammad Asad Najeeb, Deputy Manager, visited Sialkot for this networking event. The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by individual introduction of each member. The participants were of the view that more get togethers should take place and alumni should contribute for UMT activities. They were of the view that more networking among alumni will help build strong community. Valuable suggestions were made in this regard.
Rana Iftikhar Ahmad insisted on active participation of members for illmian community development through sharing job and business opportunities. He shared success story of IBCE 2016 and invited all to participate in IBCE 2017 as participants, exhibitors or sponsors. He mentioned that whatsapp group of Sialkot is an effective app for live networking of Sialkot Chapter.
