Kiran Zafar's Startup Warq Al Qadeem Shortlisted in Startup Istanbul 2017

Kiran Zafar's startup Warq Al Qadeem has been shortlisted among the top 100 startups in the international business idea competition "Startup Istanbul 2017" which is going to be held on October 20-23, 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey. More than 25,000 applicants applied from 135+ countries and only 100 startups got shortlisted after a series of interviews.
Startup Istanbul is the leading startup event which brings together founders, investors and executives from over 80+ countries in the region. It is a gathering of the leading startups, internet companies, business angels and venture capitalists from Asia and Europe.
Kiran joined CENTIN in 2016 and since then she has won many competitions and brought laurels to UMT. This includes:
- 1st Position and Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/- in Women Entrepreneurship Idea Competition and Exhibition at UMT on May 26, 2016
- 2nd Position and Cash Prize of Rs. 50,000/- in DICE Invent 2016 at NUST on December 21-22, 2016
- Innovation Award in 6th Invention to Innovation Summit 2017 at Punjab University on March 7-8, 2017
