The Office of Participant Affairs (OPA) organized a grand Freshman Orientation for the new entrants of Fall 2018 at the UMT Campus. The event was specially designed for the new intake. It proved to be a memorable day for the new entrants. Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT, inaugurated the event and delivered welcome speech. OPA team paid tribute to late Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. The grand opening was attended by senior members of the UMT management.
The inauguration was followed by the national anthem, Pakistan Scout Association flag hoisting and parade by UMT Scout Club. Students from all the clubs and societies participated in the event with zest and zeal. Various activities were being conducted to boost the event which included selection of Mr and Miss UMT, performance by Symphony Club, standup comedy by Asif Iqbal, Iqbal’s poetry recitation, performance by the Dramatics Club and Pakistan Forum.
