In order to opt for a major in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Textile Engineering, A-Levels or FSc with Physics, Math and Chemistry with minimum 50% marks in aggregate is required, besides also having obtained 60% marks in Matric/O-Level.

Note: Those with Diploma of Associate Engineers should have 70% marks in DAE and 60% in Matric.

For those choosing to major in Computer Science, A-Levels, FSc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical), ICS, or Intermediate with General Science with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are necessary, besides also having obtained 60% marks in Matric/O-Level. These applicants will, however, be required to take additional courses.

Note: Diploma holders should have 60% marks in Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) and 60% marks in Matric.
