Dr. Salman is an old Ravian and did his Masters in Economics from Government College University, Lahore. He joined Government College University as a lecturer in 1974 and left it in 2001 as an Associate Professor. He joined Lahore School of Economics as a Professor and served there till 2007. He joined COMSATS Institute, Lahore as Head, Department of Management Sciences and then retired as Incharge Academics after attaining the age of superannuation. At present, he is Director, Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Central Punjab, Lahore. Dr. Salman has about 30 research publications in HEC recognized journals. He has also presented his research papers in International conferences including a conference at Oxford University, UK and In Paris, France. His field of specialization is in Econometrics and International Economics.

Informing the IASB/FASB Standard Setting Process

Shahwali khan is Lecturer of Accounting at Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. He is also a PhD scholar at School of Accountancy, Massey University, New Zealand. He is a graduate of Massey University in the diploma of Accountancy programme and an MBA graduate of Peshawar University. Other than the research work at Massey University, Shahwali is also involved with teaching accounting courses at Massey University to graduate level. His research interests are in the area of corporate financial reporting and financial analysis. He is currently looking at the value relevance of Comprehensive Income reporting. Shahwali khan has presented the literature review of Comprehensive Income at Quantitative Accounting Research Symposium (QARS), held at the University of Auckland and at Auckland Regional Accounting Conference (ARA), also held at the University of Auckland. He has also presented a paper ‘Volatility and Risk-Relevance of Comprehensive Income For Non-Financial Firms’ at the “Quantitative Accounting Research Consortium” held at the University of Auckland.

Raheel Ahmed is the student of BBA (Hons) last semester at Sukkur IBA. He is majoring in Marketing. He has secured 3.5CGPA and received silver medal from “Federal Minister of Labor and Manpower” on highest cumulative GPA. He has worked for six weeks with trade development authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and 4 weeks with Premier Meezan Islamic bank as an internee. He is highly interested in academic research; this effort is the little reflection of that. His interests are in marketing, management, entrepreneurship and organizational behavior. He has received various academic awards in debates, presentations and product development competitions. Currently he is member of Public Speaking & Literary Society, Manager Readers’ Club and event manager in BASC (Business Administration Student Club).

Imad Ali is a Forward Campaigner in Benazir income support programme (BISP). Currently He is waiting for his result of BBA (Hons) from University of Peshawar. His area of specialization is Marketing.He has completed F.Sc from  The Muslim College of Computer Science Peshawar in 2006. He remained as an internee in the National rural support programme (NRSP) Charsadda before it. He has been a teacher in Frontier College of Information Technology for 2 years. He has completed his second paper title “Perceptions that people hold about friendship” and is ready to send to a conference. It was accepted in the international Conference on Health and Human Sciences (ICHHS 2009) but could not able to attend the conference.

Relationship of secondary education with higher education
Younas Alam is a student of Bachelors in Business Administration (Hons) at the Imperial College of Business Studies, Lahore. His Major is in General Management with special focus on Business Research Methodology, Economics (Managerial, Financial and Developmental), Corporate Social Responsibility, Performance Management, Brand management, Investment Analysis and Sales management.  He has been on the Rector’s honor roll in every semester at ICBS and has been a Teaching Assistant for a number of courses. He was the president of the student management club at ICBS for the spring semester 2010. He is a freelance writer and journalist and has had his articles published in some international magazines, English and Urdu newspapers. He is the director and founder of a social entrepreneurship organization called Laal theatre, which was developed and initiated as a part of a leadership and community service project and has benefitted many underprivileged children and workers.  He is the project manager of an aspiring event management company called curtain call society and in that respect, has launched a brand by the name of “Octave Project” and produced and directed numerous entertainment related events. His previous work experience was in the telemarketing industry and has served as sales rep and a floor manager.

“Improving Cyber-Security in the Crossroads of Eurasia: Refining Turkey’s E-Commerce Law”
Dr. Stephen Blythe is Professor of Law in the School of Management at New York Institute of Technology (“NYIT”), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas (U.S.A.) in 1979 and a Ph.D. in Computer Law from The University of Hong Kong (China) in 2010. He holds professional licenses in Law (Attorney at Law, Texas and Oklahoma) and Accounting (C.P.A., Texas).

During the past five years, he has published 35 refereed journal articles, many of them in distinguished journals such as: Columbia Journal of East European Law, Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, European Journal of Law and Economics, and Houston Journal of International Law. In June of 2007, NYIT President Edward Guiliano presented him with the Faculty Award for Achievement in Research at NYIT-Abu Dhabi. He is a seasoned litigator with ten years’ experience in the courtroom. In Houston, Texas, he represented plaintiffs in numerous cases pertinent to every type of employment-discrimination: race, gender, sexual harassment, disability, age, national origin and religion. In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, while employed with the Cheek Law Firm, he defended insurance companies in litigation pertinent to automobile accidents, fire, maritime, products liability, medical malpractice, homeowners and personal injury.

Mr. Falah-ud-Din Butt is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and has worked in different institutions as visiting faculty member. He has been working in Sukkur IBA for last eleven years. His areas of interest are:  Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Advance Business Research, HRM, & Social Psychology.
In collaboration with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) he successfully organized and coordinated the Three Day Workshop – Case Method of Teaching on 8th, 9th, & 10th January 2010 at Sukkur IBA. He also successfully implemented (in terms of Need Assessment, Marketing, and Evaluation) the Foundation Semester-Talent Hunt Program-2009 (10 million project). A scholarship-based program for needy students (for BBA, BS, & MBA) of Sindh, launched by Sukkur IBA in collaboration with P & D, Govt. of Sindh.

In his capacity, as a teacher, learner and academician, Khurram had been to United Kingdom, Thailand, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and India. Ijaz Ahmed Tatlah

Mr. Ijaz Ahmad Tatlah is an advanced doctoral student in Education at University of Management and Technology. He is a keen educationist by heart. He has extended his services also as education member with the Town Twinning Association London Borough of Hounslow, UK, and Lahore Cantt. He is also a part-time faculty member at Allama Iqbal Open University, and visiting faculty at Minhaj University Lahore. His research interest involves the educational leadership and management. He is member of reviewers’ team of more than half dozen international journals. Moreover he has presented his six research papers at international conferences abroad and local. He is author of seven international publications while few more are in pipe line.

Mr.Ijaz earned B.S.Ed degree in 1992 with research title “To examine the current status of science education facilities at higher secondary level in Punjab, PAkistan”.He earned his M.Sc. Mathematics from FC College Lahore in 1995, MA (2000) from BZU Multan, and M.Ed. secondary education from IER University of the Punjab (1998-2000) with research title “An empirical investigation to examine the factors which influences the people to join education as profession”. He earned diploma in educational leadership and management from AIE Lahore (2007-2008).M.Phil in Education from UMT ( 2008-2011).
