The Honorary Investment Counselor (HIC) in USA, Mr Faisal Amin, visited the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, on July 10, 2009 and held a meeting with the Pro-Rector, UMT, Dr A R Kausar. The purpose of the visit was to explore and promote investment opportunities in and among the educational institutions. The purpose of the visit was to find collaboration opportunities between Pakistani institutes with US institutes like Houston Community College. Dr Barkat, Advisory Director, United Central Bank, Zulfiqar Ali, Director, Ministry of Investment,  Government of Pakistan, Dr Sarwar M Azhar, Dean SBE,  Dr Tashfeen Azhar, Professor SBE, and Muhammad Anwar, Chief Library Officer, UMT were also present on the occasion.
