| What is Quality Assurance in Education |
Education is a tool to form a society, a fabric which joins the threads of a society together, a process to make steady progress, a generator of power, and an enabler for better economic condition of a country; provided it is effective and for all. Effectiveness is in fact Quality, while the process to make it effective is Quality Assurance. |

The framework of Education includes many components, namely Teacher & Teaching, Curriculum & Co-curriculum, Examinations & Assessments, Students, Research, and Administration & Management. With the rapid growth in the enrollment of education in Pakistan without any effective accreditation systems, the quality of education is being ignored by many institutions, may that be schools, colleges or universities. Education is presently one of the largest sectors in the country. Thousands of persons are joining this career every month and millions of students are graduating at various levels in the country. It is not just a profession; it is the most important profession of this country. |

| Call for Papers and Abstracts |
Abstracts and Papers are invited from all those who wish to take part in this conference. Only those abstracts reflecting the theme will be considered. Topics and abstracts should preferably be on Case Studies/Practices. However, some prominent Research or Analytical Work are also welcomed. Abstract should be a one page synopsis of the paper and should be accompanied by the Synopsis of the author/presenter. The abstracts will go through Peer Review and only approved abstracts will be selected for final presentations. The final paper can be in the form of a written paper/text or a power point presentation. The deadlines are as follows: |

| About this Conference |
This is the 5th Conference on Quality of Education in Pakistan since 2002 organized by the PIQC. The first four conferences were held in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. These conferences are highly credible in the academicians and have provided a foundation of growth and progress in Educational Quality. The conference serves as a Voice of Quality in Pakistan for academicians. It brings all the stakeholders under one roof to discuss, share and raise the collective knowledge in the field of Educational Quality Assurance. This annual conference is playing a key role in the promotion of Quality in Pakistan. |
